We now stand at the edge of the global financial abyss of a ‘Great Global Debt Depression,’ where nations, mired in extreme debt, are beginning to implement ‘fiscal austerity’ measures to reduce their deficits, which will ultimately result in systematic global social genocide, as the middle classes vanish and the social foundations upon which our nations rest are swept away. How did we get here? Who brought us here? Where is this road leading? These are questions I will briefly attempt to answer.

At the heart of the global political economy is the central banking system. Central banks are responsible for printing a nation’s currency and setting interest rates, thus determining the value of the currency. This should no doubt be the prerogative of a national government, however, central banks are of a particularly deceptive nature, in which while being imbued with governmental authority, they are in fact privately owned by the world’s major global banks, and are thus profit-seeking institutions. How do central banks make a profit? The answer is simple: how do all banks make a profit? Interest on debt. Loans are made, interest rates are set, and profits are made. It is a system of debt, imperial economics at its finest.

Sen. DeMint: Ratifying U.N. Children’s Rights Treaty Would Turn Parental Rights ‘Over to International Community’

Washington (CNSNews.com) – Sen. Jim DeMint (R- S.C.) said that if President Barack Obama gets his way and the Senate ratifies the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the precedent would be set to place parental rights under the jurisdiction of the international community.

“We believe we need to take clear action here in Congress to protect the rights of parents to raise their children,» DeMint said at a Wednesday panel discussion. «This treaty would, in fact, establish a precedent that those rights have been given over to the international community.»

The number of foreign workers has increased by 114,000 in the last year – while people born in Britain continued to lose their jobs.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics show workers born overseas were the beneficiaries of the early stages of the economic recovery.

There are now 3.85million workers who were born abroad. At the same time, the UK-born workforce fell by 15,000, to 25.08million.

IT firm Unisys Corporation, together with its Greece business partner Unisystems, has won a contract from Alpha Bank for purchase of two new Unisys ClearPath Dorado 790 Series mainframe servers and renewal of a software licensing agreement to upgrade Alpha Bank’s existing systems.

These actions are part of Alpha Bank’s initiative to modernize and expand its core banking system. Alpha Bank is one of Greece’s banking and financial services groups, with nearly 500 branches in Greece.

Greece’s economy has shrunk by a further 1.5 per cent in the second quarter of the year, as the country felt the painful consequences of the government’s drive to reduce its debts with aggressive austerity cuts.

Official figures released by the country’s statistics agency on Thursday also showed the unemployment rate rising to 12 per cent in May, from 11.9 per cent in the previous month.

Greece’s gross domestic has now fallen 3.5 per cent since this time last year, while the number of people out of work is up significantly from 8.5 per cent in May 2009.

«The fall in investment and the significant reduction in public consumption contributed to the reduction of gross domestic product,» the agency said.

Αυτόνομη Ανεξάρτητη Κρήτη ή μήπως Τουρκική Κρήτη-Ένα επικίνδυνο παιχνίδι

Τον τελευταία δέκα χρόνια ανακινείται από άγνωστους κύκλους του εξωτερικού κυρίως το θέμα της (Ανεξαρτησίας_Αυτονομίας) της Κρήτης.

Το ζήτημα έχει πάρει διαστάσεις στο διαδίκτυο όπου προβάλλονται όροι, όπως Κρητική σημαία, Κρητική Πολιτεία, Αυτόνομη Κρήτη, Ανεξάρτητη Κρήτη, Λαϊκή Δημοκρατία της Κρήτης κ.τ.λ.

Αρκετές σημαίες φιγουράρουν σε σπίτια ενώ υπάρχουν δεκάδες αυτοκίνητα στα οποία είναι τοποθετημένο το σύμβολο της Κρητικής Πολιτείας στις πινακίδες. Το φαινόμενο είναι εντονότερο στο Ηράκλειο, όπου οι Αρχές έχουν καταγράψει εκατοντάδες περιπτώσεις ανθρώπων που έχουν κάνει κεντρικό τους σύνθημα την «Κρητική Πολιτεία» και το όραμα της «Αυτόνομης Κρήτης».

Μέχρι ενός σημείου μπορεί κάποιος να χαρακτηρίσει αυτές τις ενέργειες από περιθωριακές έως γραφικές.

Προπαγάνδα για την “αυτόνομη Κρήτη”, σε συναυλία στην Ιεράπετρα!

Έγινε κι αυτό! Οι σχεδιαστές της “αυτονόμησης” (του αιματοκυλίσματος, για την ακρίβεια) της Κρήτης το 2012 φρόντισαν ώστε να περάσουν τα “κηρύγματά” τους ακόμα και μέσα από μουσικές εκδηλώσεις! Ο τρόπος για να το πετύχουν είναι, προφανώς, πανεύκολος γι’ αυτούς: σκάνε μερικά ψωροευρώ σε οποιονδήποτε έχει για θεό του το χρήμα και δε γνωρίζει ούτε πατρίδα ούτε ιστορία ούτε γονιούς ούτε τίποτα, κι έτοιμη η δουλειά!

Έτσι, ακούσαμε χθες το βράδυ στην Ιεράπετρα, στη διάρκεια της συναυλίας της Μελίνας Ασλανίδου, τον Μανόλη Ανδρουλιδάκη να παίζει κιθάρα και να τραγουδάει, και συγχρόνως να κάνει προπαγάνδα για την “αυτόνομη Κρήτη” και να προβαίνει σ’ έναν ιταμό διαχωρισμό ανάμεσα στο “εδώ” (την Κρήτη) και το “εκεί” (την υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα)!
